Our Hetzner Cloud team consists of around 80 employees and works both remotely across Germany and from our office in Munich (Unterföhring).
Our IDM & Billing team drives critical organisational processes, focusing on Identity Management and Billing Systems. We develop secure features, manage sensitive data, and ensure accurate billing at scale. The annual salary for this position is between €68,000 and €101,000 gross. The exact salary level will be determined based on professional experience and the scope of responsibilities.

What you’ll do
You’ll develop new and optimise our existing backend features for our identity management and billing systems with precision and care
You’ll work on our identity and access management for Hetzner's customer facing APIs and deploy new features with rigorous controls
You’ll also work on our billing system that processes millions of records and billions of events out of which we calculate usage and transmit to SAP, ensuring monthly usage calculations for customers are accurate and reliable
You'll work closely with a small team of backend developers to deliver robust APIs and ensure seamless integration with existing tools and workflows
Job requirements
You have sound experience in software development, programming in Go and Python would be a plus
You have proven track record in leveraging event-driven architecture
You are a meticulous programmer who works on critical systems with great attention to detail and an understanding of API development and system integrations
You have a proactive attitude, the ability to take initiative and the willingness to contribute your ideas
You are business fluent in English, German would be advantageous
